It is a two-phase alloy, containing both alpha and beta phase crystalline structures. Titanium Grade 5 Tubes is the most widely used titanium alloy of the alpha-plus-beta class, and is also the most common of all titanium alloys. Grade 5 Titanium tubes has good welding and fabrication characteristics. It has good tensile properties at ambient temperatures compared with other titanium. Grade 5 Titanium tubes also have good high temperature mechanical properties. In general, it has a tendency to gall and is not recommended for wear applications. Titanium Grade 5 tubing is 30% more grounded than steel, however is almost half lighter. Titanium Grade 5 Seamless Tube is 60% heavier than aluminium, however twice as solid. Titanium Grade 5 Pipes is the most widely used titanium alloy of the alpha-plus-beta class, and is also the most common of all titanium alloys. Titanium Gr-5 Seamless Pipes is titanium based alloy with 0.12-0.25 % Pd, where the addition of the small amount of palladium is to ennoble the corrosion potential of Ti, therefore improving the corrosion resistance of titanium in reducing environments. Concerning to its physical properties, Titanium Gr-5 Welded Pipes has got excellent weldability. There are different grades of titanium and the grade 5 is the most used of them all. It has the chemical composition of 6% aluminum, 4% vanadium, 0.25% iron and oxygen in it. Grade 5 Titanium pipes also have good high temperature mechanical properties. In general, it has a tendency to gall and is not recommended for wear applications
