Monel Tubes is an amount of the largest and most versatile, excellent overall performance of corrosion resistant alloys.
This alloy has excellent corrosion resistance in hydrofluoric acid and fluorine gas medium, hot concentrated alkali is also excellent in corrosion resistance. Also resistant to neutral solution, water, sea water, air, organic compounds corrosion.
An important feature of the alloy is generally not produce stress corrosion cracking, good cutting performance.
Its chemical composition is mainly composed of 30% Cu and 65% Ni plus a small amount of Fe (1% -2%) of the composition. Due to differences in the chemical composition on it can have a variety of alloy grades, but the corrosion resistance and no significant difference between them. Monel400 alloys more resistant to corrosion than reducing media pure nickel, and copper is more resistant to oxidation than the media corrosion.

Monel Tubes is a group of nickel alloys, primarily composed of nickel (up to 67 %) and copper, with small amounts of iron, manganese, carbon, and silicon. Monel K500 Tubes is been widely used for its strength at high temperatures and its ability to resist oxidation, carburization, and other types of high – temperature corrosion.
