Finned tubes are especially useful in air heat exchangers. In an air heat exchanger, heat is transferred between a liquid and a gas. Because the heat coefficient of the airside is lower, a finned tube can be extremely useful. The increased surface area of a finned tube allows for faster heat transfer between the components.
These fin tubes with Internal Ribs (Turbo Chill Tubes) are manufactured out of Plain Tubes of size : 15.88mm OD up to 25.40mm OD, Wallthickness of the plain tubes from 0.71mm to 1.62mm.
Tubes having externally enhanced surface area with Integrally helical ribs on the inner side, improving inside heat transfer co-efficiency.
- Fin Tubes with Internal Ribs (Turbo Chill Tubes) are available with exact lengths required by customer
- Fin Tubes with Internal Ribs (Turbo Chill Tubes) are available with plain portion at both ends, as per customer specification.
- Fin Tubes with Internal Ribs (Turbo Chill Tubes) are available with Intermediate landings (plain portion for baffle sheet support), as per customer requirement.
- Fin Tubes with Internal Ribs (Turbo Chill Tubes) will be supplied, duly Pneumatic Pressure Tested or Hydro Tested, after processing.
- Copper Fin Tubes with Internal Ribs & Cupro-Nickel Fin Tubes with Internal Ribs (Turbo Chill Tubes) will be supplied in "As Finned Temper".
- Copper Fin Tubes with Internal Ribs & Cupro-Nickel Fin Tubes with Internal Ribs (Turbo Chill Tubes) will be supplied, duly Stress Relieved on in-house Electric Conveyor Belt Furnace, as per SB-359, on customer specific requirement.
- Carbon Steel Fin Tubes with Internal Ribs will be supplied in "As Finned Temper" only.

Finned tubes are particularly beneficial in air heat exchangers. Heat is transferred between a liquid and a gas in an air heat exchanger. A finned tube can be extremely useful because the heat coefficient of the airside is lower. A finned tube's increased surface area allows for faster heat transfer.
Cupro-Nickel Fin Tubes are processed out of plain Cupro-Nickel Tubes conforming to SB-111 UNS No. 70400, 70600, 71000, 71500 and finning will be carried out as per SB-359.
90:10 Cupro-Nickel exhibits excellent resistance to impingement attack. This alloy is suitable for Marine condenser tubes, especially where higher water velocities are encountered.
70:30 Cupro-Nickel has in general, the best resistance of any of the copper alloys to impingement attack and to corrosion from most acids and waters. It is being used in severe corrosive conditions in which service lives longer than those of other copper alloys are desired.
These fin tubes are manufactured out of Cupro-Nickel tubes of Minimum 9.52mm OD up to 25.40mm OD. Wallthickness of the plain tubes varies from 1.21mm upto 2.77mm, depending upon the technical Parameters, required by customer.

This End Cross Tubes are used extensively for Vapour Absorber Chillers (VAC). Absorption Chillers are generally used, Steam or hot water to drive the lithium bromide refrigeration cycle but certainly can use some other heat sources as well.

Copper Fin tubes are used generally for various Heat Exchanger Applications viz. Condensers, Evaporators, Chillers, Economizers, Oil Coolers, etc. Copper DHP Fin Tubes are extensively used in sugar refineries for condensers and evaporators. Deoxidized copper is the standard material for transferring heat from steam to water or air because of their excellent resistance to corrosion by fresh water and their high thermal conductivities.
Copper Finned Tubes are mostly used in heat exchangers for applications for cooling and heating of liquid and gas, including water, oil, steam and air as well as for condensation, evaporation.
These fin tubes are manufactured in various sizes ranging from 9.52mm OD up to 25.40mm OD and Wallthickness of the plain tubes from 0.91mm up to 4mm, depending upon the technical Parameters, required by customer.

Fin Tube Coils are available in different forms for direct application in various types of Heat Exchangers viz. Oil Coolers.
Finned-tube coils are found in many process heating systems and many times are the first major component to show symptoms of improper upstream filtration.
In a dirty atmosphere, they can actually cause many systematic problems, including pump, compressor and fan failures.
Finned-tube coils (sometimes known as heat transfer coils) have two important parts that convey heat transfer.
The first is the tubes, which also are called the "primary surface." The second is the finned surface, which also is known as the "secondary surface."
Both are ultra-important to creating the designed heat transfer with balanced air- and water-side resistance.
